This album is the result of a trillion decisions
to play guitar instead of (fill in the blank).
The songs have been brewing as far back as '85 and
I present them here as an expression of love
for the fingerstyle genre and the players
who've inspired me. Fingerstyle is something
you pretty much know going in won't likely lead you
to a quick understanding of the terms "paydirt"
or "media frenzy." To do it at all, really, you have to fall for it pretty hard, and if nothing
else, I've done exactly that. Heartfelt thanks
to family and friends who've always accepted
(even encouraged) this little preoccupation of mine. Hats off
to Bill Doughty for class and
collegiality. A word of gratitude to Chris Proctor who, when the bug bit me as a teenager, showed
